Thousand Islands Emergency Rescue Service is the 911 contract ambulance service provider for the towns of Clayton and Orleans in Jefferson County New York. Certification is through NYDOH.

Our response district is 154 square miles of mostly rural terrain and encompasses a large portion of the St. Lawrence River and islands along the US/Canada border in Jefferson County. New York
We compensate Paramedics 24/7/365 and supplement our capability with paid and volunteer Emergency Medical Technicians and drivers. Roster: 5 Full Time Employees; 14 Part-Time Paramedics; 7 Part-Time EMT’s; 23 Volunteer Driver/ EMT’s and1 Part-Time Admin. Assistant.
