Thousand Islands Emergency Rescue Service is the 9-1-1 ambulance service provider for the Towns of Clayton and Orleans in Jefferson County, New York. Our response district is ~175 square miles of mostly rural terrain and encompasses a large portion of the St. Lawrence River along the US/Canadian border.

We staff paid Paramedics 24/7/365 and supplement their capabilities with paid and volunteer Emergency Medical Technicians and drivers.

As a 501c3 non-profit charitable organization, TI-Rescue is committed to community service and excellence by initiating programs in public health and safety awareness, and our assistance to neighboring towns helped make us the New York State Department of Health’s 2008 EMS Agency of the Year. TI-Rescue proudly sponsors this website to share our mission.

Chicken BBQ to Benefit Michael "Fluff" Bennett

Mike “Fluffy” Bennett has been the man behind the scenes as the Executive Director of TIERS for many years. Recently, he’s been hospitalized in Westchester and is fighting for his life. Mark your calendar for Saturday, April 27th for a delicious Chicken BBQ prepared in a joint effort between TIERS and the Town of Clayton Fire Department. All proceeds will be directed to Fluff and his family to cover travel expenses, medical bills, and other associated costs they will have. Also, bring your bottles and cans as we will be collecting them too!
