TIERS’ Junior Membership Program has ushered several area teens into emergency medical services as volunteers and active employees. We’re looking for students who are interested in learning about EMS and about teamwork, and who want the chance to provide crucial services during emergencies.
TIERS Junior Members learn patient assessment and treatment skills, assist with visits to senior citizens housing, help staff our TIERS EMS BIKE TEAM and–after clearance–ride along with TIERS crews on emergency calls.
If you are between the ages of 15 and 18, and would be interested in joining us, contact TIERS at 686-2058 for more information.
We are also looking for volunteer leaders–parents and adult mentors who see the value of educating our young people in:
- Life-Saving Skills
- Science and Human Health
- A great Career Opportunity
- Teamwork and Life Skills
- Social Interaction
- Community Service
This is a great chance to use your organizing, teaching and relationship skills to make a real difference and learn how to help save lives at the same time.
Contact TIERS at 686-4333 for more information on helping with the program.
